Fleetiqo GPS devices integration
Hardwired and OBD GPS trackers sold by Fleetiqo, feeding live location, geofencing, speed alerts and route history.
For vehicles that are neither a Tesla nor already carrying a tracker, Fleetiqo sells its own GPS hardware. These are the devices behind the real-time tracking features on the features page.
Position data goes to a dedicated tracking server on separate infrastructure from the main application database — see the security page for how that is arranged.
What it does
- Live position on a shared fleet map
- Geofences with entry and exit alerts
- Speed alerts
- Route history and trip replay
- Location reports over a chosen period
What it does not do
- GPS hardware is sold separately from the subscription. The monthly plan does not include devices.
- Cellular coverage determines reporting; a vehicle in an underground car park will not report until it surfaces.
Before you start
- • A Fleetiqo GPS device for each vehicle you want to track
How to connect it
- 1
Order a device
Choose a tracker from the Fleetiqo shop for the vehicle type you are fitting.
- 2
Install it
OBD devices plug into the diagnostic port. Hardwired units are best fitted by an installer.
- 3
Pair it to a vehicle
Add the device identifier against the vehicle record in the dashboard.
- 4
Set up alerts
Draw geofences and set speed thresholds so you are told about problems instead of discovering them.
