About
Built for people who rent their cars out
Fleet software has existed for decades, but almost all of it assumes you operate the vehicles yourself — a delivery fleet, a service fleet, a company car scheme. The unit of work is a maintenance job.
Peer-to-peer rental broke that assumption. The unit of work became a booking with a stranger attached, arriving through a platform you do not control, with a payout that lands weeks later and tells you nothing about whether the car actually made money.
Fleetiqo exists for that gap. It is a small, self-funded product built by people who deal with the same reconciliation problem, made in California and Quebec.
Why it reads your inbox
The obvious way to sync Turo bookings is an API. There isn’t an open one for hosts. The next most obvious way is to log in as you and scrape — which means holding your Turo password, and we were not willing to build that.
So Fleetiqo reads the confirmation emails Turo already sends you. It is an unusual design and it has real consequences, some good and some not. The good: no API keys, no password, no waiting for platform access, and it works in any market where Turo sends email. The cost: when Turo changes an email template, the parser has to be updated, and a mismatch surfaces as an unmatched rental you can see rather than a number that is quietly wrong.
We would rather explain that trade-off than hide it. The security page sets out the exact scopes requested and what is stored.
How we work
One price, however many cars
Per-vehicle pricing punishes the thing you are trying to do. Fleetiqo is $49 a month whether you run three vehicles or ninety, so growing the fleet is never a budget conversation.
Least privilege, on purpose
The Microsoft mail integration originally asked for read and write access. It was cut to read-only because nothing in the product needs to write to your mailbox. Google is connected read-only for the same reason. When the choice is between convenient and narrow, we take narrow.
Say what it does not do
Fleetiqo does not manage your Turo listing, run shop work orders, or handle counter operations for a multi-branch agency. Our comparison pages name the alternatives and say when they are the better buy. Losing a bad-fit deal is cheaper than a refund and a bad review.
Your data leaves as easily as it arrives
Vehicles, rentals and customers can be exported. The customer list in particular is yours — one of the reasons operators move off platform-only tooling is that they cannot take their guests with them.
What we are not
We are not a large company, and pretending otherwise would come apart the first time you emailed support. There is no 24/7 phone line and no formal security certification — the security page says so plainly rather than implying an audit that has not happened.
What you get instead is that support replies come from people who work on the system, feature requests go to a voting board that actually drives the roadmap, and the product ships continuously rather than in annual releases.
