Operations
Revenue per car is easy. Profit per car is the number that matters
Most operators know what each vehicle earned last month. Far fewer can say what it cost, which means far fewer can say which cars are worth keeping.
Fleetiqo records expenses against the vehicle that incurred them, categorised, so the profitability figure is a real subtraction rather than an impression. Fuel, cleaning, service, tyres, insurance, registration, tolls, finance payments, depreciation assumptions if you use them.
The output is the uncomfortable, useful list: the cars carrying the fleet and the ones being carried. That is a purchase decision, a pricing decision and a sell decision, and none of them are available to you from revenue alone.
What it does
- Expenses recorded per vehicle with categories, so cost is attributable rather than pooled
- Recurring costs (insurance, finance, registration) tracked alongside one-off ones
- Profitability and ROI per vehicle, netting revenue against total cost
- Maintenance jobs post through as expenses automatically
- Exportable, so your accountant gets a file rather than a login
What it does not
- It is a fleet ledger, not accounting software. It does not file taxes, run payroll or replace your bookkeeper — it gives them clean per-vehicle figures.
- There is no bank-feed import today; expenses are entered or come from maintenance records.
- Multi-entity and LLC-per-vehicle structures are tracked as your own categories rather than as separate books.
Common questions
Can I export expenses for my accountant?
Yes. The data is exportable, which is generally what an accountant wants — a file they can reconcile, not another system to log into.
Does it connect to my bank account?
Not today. Expenses are entered directly or arrive from maintenance records. If bank-feed import matters to you, say so through the feedback system — it is on the list because people keep asking.
Does it handle vehicles held in separate LLCs?
You can categorise and filter by whatever grouping you use, including entity. What it does not do is keep genuinely separate books per entity — that stays with your accounting software.
